What is Tteok (Korean cake rice) ..?

If I ask you about Korean food, You guys may think of Korean BBQ especially pork belly or Kimchi, right?
Yeah... but there is other popular Korean food.
Can you guess what menu we will bring you to know?
Here are some hints.

The answer is.....
Tteok (떡) or Korean rice cake :)

If we mention Ttoek, you will think of 'Tteokbokki' (떡볶이), right?
Tteokbokki is a food cooked with Korean rice cake(called 'Tteok').
Stirred(bokki) with Gochujang(Korean chilli paste)
Two words are combined became food name 'Ttoekbokki'

Tteok is well known as the main ingredient in South Korea.
There are two different types of Tteok; one with rice or another with glutinous rice.
Both consist of high carbohydrate and make you feel full instead of eating rice.
For this reason, many Korean like to cook with Tteok in various way including dessert :D
Let's see .. how many Korean foods have Ttoek as ingredient.
